Auriga from Flaming Star to Starfish

Flaming Star Nebula (IC405) in Auriga with IC410/NGC1893, the Starfish (M38), and Pinwheel (M36) clusters. This wide view shows this ensamble of beautiful objects in context. This is not an SHO image, but an HOO palette image where a bit of the H signal is added to the Oxygen signal in the Green channel. I call this an HOhO palette ;-)

25 hours of #NBOSC exposures on 2025-11-10>13 under Bortle 7 skies from Austin, Texas, rendered in a HOhO palate. WO RedCat 250/51mm, L-Ultimate dual NB filter, ASI2600 MC camera, ASIAIR Plus controller, AM5N mount. 296 5' exposures stacked and processed in PixInsight with RC-Astro and SetiAstro tools. Final exp and crop in Affinity Photo
