Jupiter & Saturn Revisited

I decided to make a poster for last month's spectacular conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Events which occur hundreds of years apart are worth marking. After so much time at home, it's also good to be reminded of how much I enjoy chasing astronomical events. Two of my favorite astronomical times were imaging the crescent Moon, with Venus in the Beehive star cluster from the Painted Desert, and the Jupiter Saturn conjunction.

I enjoy the entire process. Planing my main shot months ahead, finding the best spot and planing my imaging, enjoying the solitude of my moment with the universe. I'm pleased with my image of Jupiter and Saturn in the same field of my Questar, but my favorite images may be the before and after shots which will keep the memory of my adventure fresh.
