2 day old Crescent Moon with Earthshine

Clear skies have returned to central Texas. This evening brought us a beautiful crescent Moon. Mary and I watched the sunset on our walk and arrived home just in time to catch this image.

The 4.2% illuminated crescent Moon from Austin the evening of Jan 29 local time. Questar 3.5" telescope with Sony a6300 at prime focus. Taken 2017-01-30 00:55 UT. Crescent the best 27 of 87 images exposed for 1/30 sec at ISO 400. Earthshine the best 16 of 30 images exposed for 5 sec at ISO 400. Stacked and deconvolved in Lynkeos. HDR composite in Photoshop.
