Nearly 1st Quarter Moon

Taken from my driveway in Austin, Texas on 2016-09-09 01:33 UT a few hours before the 1st quarter moon. The moon was high over my air conditioner and the focus highlights in the camera were blinking in and out like a slow strobe. Once I shut the AC off, seeing improved remarkably.

Questar 1300/89 mm telescope with Sony a6300 at prime focus. Exposed 1/20 sec at ISO 200. Best 19 of 180 images stacked and deconvolved in Lynkeos. Final crop and exposure in Photoshop.

I added 2x2X Dakin Barlows and switched to video for this close up stack taking the best 125 of 3000 fames:

30fps 4k cropped video with a Sony a6300 and Questar 3.5" telescope. Exposed 1/8 sec at ISO 800. Best 125 of 300 frames stacked and deconvolved in Lynkeos. Final crop and post-processing in Photoshop.
