Waning Gibbous Moon to the Max

Austin is still in a pattern of mostly cloudy nights, so I jump at any chance to image the Moon. Last night I had help from my granddaughter Max. We watched E.T. with her for the first time and then headed outside to observe the Moon.

Waning Gibbous Moon from Austin, Texas. Taken 2018-03-03 03:40 UT with a Questar 1350/89mm f15 telescope and Sony a6300 camera. Best 8 of 120 images exposed 1/40 sec at ISO 100.

I had lots of help from my granddaughter Maxine!
