Not so Partial Lunar Eclipse

This year's Bever Moon featured a partial lunar eclipse. Partial with 97% of the moon in the earth's umbra. The crystal clear November night in Austin showed that (unlike a 97% total solar eclipse) a 97% lunar eclipse was nearly as spectacular as a total lunar eclipse. I imaged using HDR exposure bursts from about 90 minutes before and after the maximum eclipse. This single frame was taken at the eclipse maximum.

Taken from my drive in Austin, Texas, 2021-11-19 09:03 UT. Questar 1280/89 mm Maksutov telescope with Sony a6300 mirrorless camera at prime focus. Exposed 6 sec at ISO 200. Cropped and exposure adjusted in Photoshop with some noise reduction and sharpening in Topaz.
