North America and Pelican Nebulae SHO NBOSC

North America (NGC 7000) and Pelican (IC 5070) Nebulae is my first image with some new equipment. The ASI2600 MC camera is very similar in charactoristics to the ASI533 MC that I've been using, except for a much larger sensor area and higher resoloion ADC. The 2nd is a new dual narrow band filter. The Optolong L-Synergy filter has 7nm pass bands for Oiii and Sii. This allows me to create images in the Hubble SHO palette, where Sulfur is red, Hydrogen is green, and Oxygen is blue.

24 hours of #NBOSC exposures on 2025-10-17 to 26 under Bortle 3 skies from Tanque Verde, Arizona, and Silver City, New Mexico, rendered in a SHO palate.

WO RedCat 250/51mm, L-Ultimate and L-Synergy dual NB filters, ASI2600 MC camera, ASIAIR Plus controller, AM5N mount.

292 5' exposures (215 L-Synergy, 77 L-Ultimate) stacked and processed in PixInsight with RC-Astro and SetiAstro tools. Final exp and crop in Affinity Photo
