A lonely sunspot from AR 2640 the Sun from northwest Austin. A few clouds can add some interest to images of the sun. I've seen some great eclipse shots with clouds, but I know for everyone of those I see there are several failed attempts with the sun behind the clouds. I'm glad to give the clouds their due on an ordinary day.
Single image with a Questar 1350/89 mm telescope with a Sony a6300 at prime focus. Exposed f15 at ISO 100 for 1/100 sec. Deconvolved in Lynkeos with final crop and exposure in Photoshop.
