Stretch Acadamy Lagoon & Triffid

These iamges come from the dark skies of Ft. Davis, Texas. Once again these images have lots of dynamic range and have had two passes of stretching. The first an itterative masked stretch and then targeted GHS hyperbolic stretching to add contrast where it is most needed. This images with the 250mm RedCat were dithered and 2x drizzle stacked so that he resolution is closer to what a 500mm telescope will give. All images below are linked to full size versions:

The Lagoon Nebula

The Triffid Nebula

Big picture with Lagoon, Triffid, and IC 4685

Imaged starting 2022-04-30 08:31 UT. I stacked and processed 15 five minute expsoures taken with a William Optics RedCat 250/51mm telescope, Baader UV/IR cut filter, ZWO ASI 533 MC camera, and SkyWatcher AZ-EQ5 mount, ASI EAF and guide camera. All were controlled with a ZWO ASIAir Plus Controller. I've rerendered as a drizzle stack in PixInsight with the the BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator, and StarXTerminator, MaskedStretch, and GHW plugins in Pixinsight and final exposure adjustment in Photoshop.
