Jupiter with Io and Europa

Having some more fun with the ZWO ASI120MC planetary video camera on the Questar. Tonight was supposed to be better than it was. Transparency and seeing ranged from fair to poor. I also got some shots of the Moon, but I suspect that the seeing was too poor for stacking full disk images. I'm getting more comfortable switching between the Sony mirrorless and the video camera.

Jupiter will be at opposition in just 3 days on the 7th. With the earth between the Sun and Jupiter it is a great chance for images, if only the sky will cooperate. Jupiter with Io on the left and Europa on the right.

Questar 1350/89mm telescope, Dakin 2X Barlow, and ZWO ASI120MC camera on 2017-04-04 04:47 UT from Austin, Texas. 999 frames exposed for 52 msec at a gain of 62. Best 98 frames stacked and deconvolved in Lynkeos. Final crop and exposure in Photoshop.
