Waxing crescent Moon with iPhone

I've been checking out the new iPhone 11 Pro for use in astrophotography as the weather permits. This image taken afocally with an Orion 8" Dobsonian telescope looks pretty good. Automatic exposure and focus doesn't work well with astrophotographs with any camera, but a little patience can avoid overexposure of lunar images with even the standard camera app. The small sensors limit dynamic range, so it is very easy to overexpose parts of a high dynamic range target like the moon.
