The Pacman Nebula in Cassiopeia is 9500 light years away from Austin, Texas. The dot about to be gobbled is the star Achird (Eta Cassiopaeiae) a mag 3.5 double star. This image was taken under a Bortel 7 sky. WO RedCat 250/51mm telescope, L-Ultimate dual NB filter, ASI533 MC camera, ASIAIR Plus controller, SW AZ-EQ5 mount.
