LBJ National Historic Park

I've been helping Alex Shane with some photos for the LBJ National Historic Park application for dark skies certification for the park. These images from the LBJ Ranch last night were shot with a Sony a7iii and Samyang 14mm f/2.8 lens with 20" exposures at ISO 1600. The 14mm lens has substantial geometric distortion that makes images combining the sky with the buildings historic buildings a challenge. These images have had lens corrections in Lightroom as well as perspective and exposure correction in Photoshop.

The first image shows the northern Milky Way over the Texas White House:

Next is the reconstructed Old Junction School House which was attended by President Lyndon Johnson. Saturn and Jupiter are visible just over the roof:
