Waxing Crescent Moon through Saharan Dust

The waxing crescent Moon from Austin at 2018-07-19 02:45 UT. Several inches of rain, dust from the Sahara, fabricating a new adapter plate for the Questar, and a bunch of new additions to the site have kept me away from imaging for a couple of weeks. Skies are steady tonight and the dust has lifted somewhat. I had to use about half a stop more exposure than usual, a measure of the dust still in the air.

Imaged using a Questar 1350/89mm f14.5 telescope with a Sony a6300 camera at prime focus. Best 6 of 100 images exposed for 1/30 sec at ISO 200. Stacked in Austostakker3, deconvolved in Lynkeos, with final exposure and cropping in Photoshop.
