Lower's Nebula

Lower’s Nebula, Sh2-261 is in Orion’s right arm about 30,000 LY away. Rich in hydrogen with an oxygen center, including a delicate blue oxygen ring to the right of the central bright star. It appears about the size of the moon, but is quite dim and not as well known as Orion’s other famous nebulae.
