The Flying Bat and Squid Nebulae

Flying Bat and Squid Nebulae,Sh2-129, in Cephus. This has been a long term project started last fall. Almost all of the #NBOSC data is from Bad Wolf Ranch under Bortle 4 skies, except for 4.5 hours under Bortle 7 Austin Skies. 4 hours of broadband color data was used for star colors. In total 27 hours of exposures on 2024-10-10 to 2045-07-30 mostly under Bortle 4 skies from Bad Wolf Ranch, Texas, rendered in an HOO palate.

WO RedCat 250/51mm, stars UV/IR, nebulosity L-Ultimate dual NB filter, ASI533 MC camera, ASIAIR Plus controller, AM5N mount. 322 5' exposures stacked and processed in PixInsight with RC-Astro and SetiAstro tools. Final exp and crop in Affinity Photo
