The crescent Moon and Jupiter lit up the western sky in Austin last night. I put together a three exposure HDR composite showing three of the Jovian moons as well as the Moon and Jupiter.
Questar 1350/89mm telescope with Sony a6300 at prime focus. Three exposure composite: Moon best 8 of 40 images ISO 200 for 1/30 sec, Jupiter best 16 of 40 images ISO 200 for 1/30 sec, Jovian moons best 6 of 30 images ISO 1600 for 1/30 sec. Images deconvolved in Lynkeos and stacked and cropped in Photoshop.
