Lucky Fat Waning Crescent Moon

I woke up early hoping to get a shot of the Moon, but it was obscured by high clouds. A few minutes later my granddaughter crept out and when I took her out to look I realized that there was a nice clear hole in the clouds. My scope and camera were all packed up from Austin Under the Stars, but I was had the scope set up in five minutes and after some visual views with Olivia I was imaging. I realized that I needed to take the trash out to the curb, and by the time I was back at the scope the Moon was behind clouds. Inside while explaining the processing I was doing to my grandson, we heard thunder and the rain start.

Taken between the morning clouds from Austin Texas on 2016-07-27 11:25 UT. Questar 3.5" telescope with Sony a6300 camera at prime focus. Exposed 1/25 sec at ISO 200. Best 13 of 51 images stacked and deconvolved in Lynkeos. Final exposure adjustment and crop in Photoshop.
