Although it is normally closed in the evening, every month Garey Park offers popular public viewing nights with volunteers from the Williamson County Astronomy club. Teleescopes are set up along the road south of The Meadow on the South Fork of the San Gabriel River at the north side of Garey Park. A fee is charged. Check their web site for information. They are located just east of Ronald Reagan Boulevard out of the worst of Austin's skyglow at 6450 RM 2243 Georgetown, TX 78628
