 The area between Fredericksburg and Llano offers the closest really dark skies to Austin. 
 Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is 
 a spectacular setting for astronomy, but also very busy and reservations well in advance are often required. Located 
 at 16710 Ranch Road 965, Fredericksburg, Tx 78627.
