The CSAC Comanche Springs 700 acre facility is located in a dark sky corridor between Fort Worth and Amarillo in Big Ranch Country in north central Texas. The facility includes observatories with a 30 inch reflecting telescope and 15 inch refractor, indoor and outdoor classroom space, a star field, four bunkhouses, RV spaces and shower and restroom facilities. Tent camping is free. Facilities and bunkhouse rentals are available at very reasonable rates.
