The Sword of Orion

The Sword of Orion

To the eye the sword of Orion is three stars hanging from his belt. A closer look reveals bright and dark nebulae and open clusters of newly born stars. I'm pulling together data from 3 imaging sessions with Orion: Questar 3.5" with a Sony NEX-5N at prime focus, 20" exposures at prime focus at ISO 3200 and 6400. Stacked in Nebulosity with final stitching and exposure adjustment in Affinity Photo.
